| GIRLS OPEN/CLUB TEAM TRY-OUTS |
The tryouts are used to determine which team a player will participate on. Many factors, such as age, ability, volleyball experience, position, and the number of registered girls, go into deciding team placement. Because we have established limits on the number of players allowed on each team (10-11), it may become necessary to use the tryouts to decide which girls will be allowed to participate during the season. Girls will only be cut if absolutely necessary. This, generally, only occurs if we had more girls registered than available roster spots.
If necessary, some players may be asked to move up to an older age division. Players will only be moved up if the coaches and the board feel the player can compete at that level. At the Club Level, players may ask to be grouped with other players from the same school to facilitate car pooling, etc. but this cannot be guaranteed.

Tryout Requirements
1.Please complete the Online PV Juniors Player Registration Form
2.Please sign up online for NERVA membership (Make sure to choose Pioneer Valley Juniors for your club)
3.The NERVA fee will be paid by the club
4.Bring a signed PV Juniors Medical Waiver to tryouts
5.Show up to the gym 30 minutes prior to tryout to check-in, help set nets up, warm up, etc.
6.Pay your $50 Registration Fee (and $150 Open try-out fee if applicable)
