| SUMMER PROGRAMS |
Pioneer Valley Juniors Summer Programs give members OF ALL LEVELS more opportunities to play volleyball through our Summer Clinic, Summer League, and Sand Volleyball Outings.
- Summer Clinic June 29, 2010 - August 24, 2010 (Wednesday Nights)
The PV Juniors Summer Clinic provides a great opportunity FOR PLAYERS FROM ANY SCHOOL OR CLUB to enhance agility, skills and technique outside of regular season training. Geared toward players of ALL LEVELS, participants will receive training in the skills of passing, setting, attacking, serving and defense. Through drills, games and competition, emphasis will be placed on court movement and ball control. This is not a league and you will not be assigned to a team. REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!
- Summer League (WILL NOT BE HELD IN 2011)
The PV Juniors Summer Volleyball League is the perfect pre-season warm-up for a high school program seeking to rise above the level of their competition. Matches will be played once per week in the evenings. This program is open to players Grades 7 through 12 — New Grads also Welcomed. You MUST register as a team of 6-12 players or as a "Free Agent" if you'd like to be placed on a team. The entry fee includes 2 matches per night of Facility Rental Fee, Referees, T-Shirt, Championships and Awards for only $250 per team. Only a limited number of teams will be accepted.
- Summer Sand Volleyball
Here is your chance to be part of a new and growing sport for junior athletes...Junior's Sand Volleyball. Two or four players compete on the sand and in the sun to see who has the best technique, skills and game tactics. Sand volleyball is a great opportunity to play with your friends in a local outdoor pick-up game or tournament. We've also provided a list of local sand courts. Join Us this summer!
- Area Summer Camps
The top players in the region generally attend at least one summer volleyball camp. A number of the top college and high school coaches in the area run week-long camps during the summer. Some camps are geared towards specific positions such as setting, hitting, and defense while others are for player's overall development. Get all your camp info here.
