HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS SUMMER VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE
(Grades 7 through 12 — New Grads Welcomed)
Includes: 7 Nights (2 matches per night) of Facility Rental Fee,
Referees, T-Shirt, Championships and Awards
$250 PER TEAM
REGISTRATION WILL OPEN IN EARLY JUNE!!
HOW TO REGISTER
- There are two ways to register online:
- Team Registration - Choose a team name, captain, and parent/adult rep. Enter each player's name on the registration form and have each member fill out the required Medical Waiver (if not already on file). Attend the Mandatory Pre-season meeting to turn in your medical waivers and full $250 payment.
- Free Agent Registration - If you don't a have a team you can register as a free agent. We cannot guarantee space for free agents but will attempt to put together an all free agent team or you may join an existing team if invited. Free Agents will fill out a different registration form and will also attend the Mandatory Pre-season meeting where you will be placed on a team if possible. At that time, you will be expected to make full payment.
- League openings will be filled using the following format:
- Initially each school will be allowed up to one team, indicate this as priority team #1.
- Then #2 priority teams from schools with multiple teams will be added.
- Teams with complete rosters, signed waivers, and all fees paid will be added first.
- Followed by a lottery selection for the remaining openings (if needed).
- Then #3 priority teams from schools with multiple teams will be added.
- Hopefully we will be able to accommodate all interested teams, so Register Early!
- All teams must have an adult (18 yrs. or older) to serve as the rep/manager. They do not need to have any volleyball experience.
- Players must be listed on the roster form provided and fees turned in by June 30, 2010. All participants must have a Medical Waiver on file in order to participate!
There will be a MANDATORY RULES MEETING for the Captains/Coaches a week prior to the season starting (specific date/time TBA). League schedules will be distributed at the meeting. If you cannot attend, please contact George Mulry at (413) 250-1196 or george@pvjuniors.com.
OTHER LEAGUE INFO
- Each team will provide their own practice balls. Game balls will be provided.
- Each match will have one official.
- Matches will follow MIAA High School Rules.
- Each participant will receive a T-shirt; please indicate sizes on registration form. Players must wear t-shirt to each match.
- Medals will be awarded to the first place & second place teams.
