HEAD/ASSISTANT COACHES

We’re looking for great people to continue to develop character-based attributes in our athletes. We’re looking for passionate people that have a burning desire to mentor young athletes through the tougher times of life. We’re looking for people that love the game of volleyball and have the ability to help young athletes grow through challenges and competition. Our club focuses on more than volleyball, we fully believe that the time we spend with our athletes should also focus on helping them develop as productive members of society. Both head and assistant coaches pay will be commensurate with experience and performance.

PV coaches enjoy the following:
  • A positive environment supporting individual excellence within a club-wide coaching system
  • Professional development that includes free tuition or tuition support to Gold Medal Squared clinics, MAVCA Coaches Clinic, IVHF Morgan Classic Coaching Clinic, and more!
  • An operational structure simplifying team management for coaches
  • A range of commitment levels to accommodate varying work and family obligations
  • Additional coaching opportunities via year-round programming
  • A high level of competitiveness among our teams leading to regional and national success

Previous playing and/or coaching experience is preferred. Coaches must also pass a background screen and become IMPACT and SafePort trained by USA Volleyball (both free).

Practices and trainings may be held at:
  • Elms College - Chicopee, Massachusetts
  • American International College - Springfield, Massachusetts
  • Smith College - Northampton, Massachusetts
  • Frontier Regional School - South Deerfield, Massachusetts
  • Westfield High School - Westfield, Massachusetts
  • Indoor Action Sports - Greenfield, Massachusetts
  • Springfield Commonwealth Academy - Springfield, Massachusetts

We have numerous positions open in several of our programs. Practice ranges from 1-2 days a week and travel ranges from local with no overnights to 3-4 day tournaments with typically 3-6 hours of driving or flying. Our Open level teams may compete in the AAU National Championships in Orlando, Florida each June.

Seasons vary depending on programs and commitment. Our Regional and Local programs run from November-May (with an option for an extended season to June).

Please contact George Mulry with questions or to submit your resume.
